Over the last 19 years local climber Logan Barber has constantly travelled and excelled as an all-round climber. 1000m walls, grade 32 sport routes, grade 31 traditional crack climbs, and a host of first ascents in remote locations are all part of his climbing career to date. At only 5’1” Logan has learnt to get the most out of his body operating at a high level technically and mentally.
He is currently in Perth for a limited period of time while training for a return to North America mid-year.
Logans Master-class course consists of six components run over six weeks every Tuesday at City Summit starting on the 26th of April. The courses will cover technical aspects of climbing as well as strength and endurance and aim to improve your all-round climbing knowledge and ability. Learn how to break down large goals into manageable pieces and train for those goals. Each week the sessions will run for 2 hours from 6:30 to 8:30 and aim to build upon each other.
Week 1 – 26th April – Footwork and Flexibility
Week 2 – 3rd May – Strength and endurance
Week 3 – 10th May – Body Movement
Week 4 – 17th May – Route Projecting
Week 5 – 24th May – Bouldering for Training
Week 6 – 31st May – Adventure Climbing
The course is suitable for those intermediate to advanced climbers who are already lead climbing.
A maximum of 6 people. If there is extra demand a Wednesday night class may be arranged.
$250 for the entire six weeks. Individual classes may be purchased closer to the dates although priority will go to those who have booked the entire course.
